I want to do this on pokerstars, only because i have a Pokerstars account, but if others are serious about it on another site i can join that site.

I think we should play small 6$ Sng and get those down before moving on to any higher stakes.

Let me know about any suggestions

If you intend to play open SnGs, PS takes a dim view of anything that looks like collusion, esp. if someone reports you. Not saying that''s what you're suggesting, just a heads up to be caredul.

If they notice regular and consistent patterns with everyone playing together, especially in an SNG setting you could be dealing with some decent problems. I really don't think it would make a difference with fairly low stakes because FT and PStars could probably care less but if you are talking decent buy-in amounts and they see 4 or 5 people consistently registering in SNG's with each other, you are going to look suspicious. Especially when the other players at the table feel like or notice that you are playing after them and not your teammates and they have some means to prove that some form of collusion is taking place. I'd just be careful.

What do you mean he asks for money? Like he trying to charge you to play on and supposedly learn from this team? If that's the case please press the little red triangle in the corner of this post and let the mods know.

basically we will do tournies and SNGs together and will provide feedback to eachother on better strategies or suggestions.

This is for those who are trying to make more money playing SNGs

I recommend doing this on Ladbrokes for several reasons:

1) It's a mainland British casino and not on some Godforsaken lawless island where they can steal your money with impunity (unless they're nice guys and *let* you cash out because they feel like it). The mainland British casinos are regulated just like banks and your money is safe there.

2) Ladbrokes allows you to create private tournaments to your specs. Instead of us having to play text message tag to fill up a random sng, we can just create our own private tourney and then promote it if we want without the site getting the least bit upset about "collusion."

3) The minimum Ladbrokes deposit is GBP 5, which is about $15. I've never had trouble using my U.S.-based (but Canadian issued) debit card to deposit there. And cashing out for me means simply providing them with my bank account number and they transfer money there within 48 hours--no "account verification deposit" as with Party and absolutely no b.s. like "cashout reversal grace period" like the offshore Wild West sites use. They don't even make you wait a period of time since you deposited before you cash out, which Stars does.

4) The interface really appeals to my eye, and they have an in-browser Flash play window for those who don't like to download, as well as a high-res download as on PKR.

If enough people are interested maybe we can get this thing going. An online poker club sounds like a lot of fun and can help add some of the "human warmth factor" that live play has and onlline often doesn't.

I'll install AIM and contact you.

Hey guys,

Its good to see we have some people interested so early into this, this could definitely catch on.

Ive been contacted by three people so far over aim and its worked out great. Last night, me and a girl took top 2 in an SNG so we had plenty of time to tell eachother when we had reads on eachother and i think we learned a few things. It was really fun.

Pogreshilly contacted me about Ladbrokes which seems perfect for "this idea" of working with eachother. So i suggest those who are not american to check this out and contact him at aim (dirtybugard is his screen name).

However i am american so those who dont mind doing this on pokerstars can still contact me at homeandchillin and im sure we can keep winning..

Ok, I talked to him last night. He told me he sent some girl who he only played with a few times $30 in return for $45. So he asked me if I had enough to send him so we could play some games together. From what he referenced he talked about collusion. Talked about getting at the same table, raising and reraising people, etc. My opinion I wouldnt talk with him
