What are some of the pro's and mostly con's of having an llb or last longer bet in place on say a forum that hosts games but yet never has yet implemented an llb system?
How hugely will this affect a game of poker compared to that of one with no llb's in place. Really thinking this may move the game around to where I don't want it. That's what the chips are for and so having side bets will probably have some players sitting there until the clock runs out every hand before they fold. Or however they handle this perticular hand.
What are some of the thoughts that cc folks have around here about this llb system, if any.

I agree with you that last longer bets have mostly cons. The idea of a tournament is to accumulate chips (often by playing aggressively, getting it all in etc.). Last longer bets tend to make you play too nitty and focus on min cashing rather than winning

Just bubble out of a tournament where funny thing I had an LLB. Won it but only because my opponent called an all in from guy. So at least I won the LLB part even though I did not make it to the money.
Same guy had called me all in twice, both when I was bb and both times I had AQ
So makes me wonder there if I had taken him out, where does my LLB stand?
this is poker
