Can we unregister and get T$ and is there an age limit on the WSOP steps? Wish they'd change the age limit for casino poker to 18.

You can not get T$ when unregistering from a WSOP Step. There is no age limit on the Steps either, because the final prize is awarded to you as $10,000+. They can't force you to use it for the ME. Plus they even have a question in their Steps FAQ about this and they basically say that if you are under 21 that they hope you keep the $10K until you can play the ME.

hmm, depends on how many register as to how good it will be. If it stays under 1k it'll be super +ev (paying basically $39 if you're platinum for top 100 to win $700). Mathematically it's +ev if under 1795 register.

@#%@#@#@#^@ got baseball game that night no go for me even if it's super +ev.

Why can't they be swapped? Guess I may try the silverstar one, not sure though. Looking at it, maybe I'll try the steps thing from the start. Always thought I couldn't do any of it since I was under 21.

AFAIK the steps ticket can be used for other steps events, and the final table step 6 cash prizes are exactly that, paid to you as cash.

t-steps are so gross, i started @ level 1 for seven bucks, won my way to level 4, went all in on KK, got called by Q5 and lost. i'm not surprised, because no matter how well you play, odds are you WILL get beat by a hand like this if you want to get through all the steps. the worst thing is you cant unregister from them. step four was worth so much money and i had to play it.

Well it's not worth anything. If you didn't want to play step 4, why'd you play step 1? I just look at it as a huge $7 tournament where the winner gets $10k.

I had started the Steps from the beginning and made it to Step 4. Of the 4 Steps, I thought Step 3 played the best. I was card dead and played too tight in Step 4 and got bumped down to 2, then got up to 3 again before I was eliminated.

If you take the Steps for what they are (and based on your comment about it being a $7 tourney with a $10K payout, I know you do), then you should do fine.

I Love Bear, you need only be 18 to cashout online.
