I just wanted to ask where everyone was playing and what a good time commitment would be for each "level"

Hi JedKim! :)

I'm on ACR, GG and 888 - love morning games (spin&go, cash g.) and evening is for tournaments... if we talk about time and playing :D

Where do you play and when? .)

I personally like the poker league in pokerstars. I play there, and I advise everyone. She is called Scholars, you can find it in Google and read the rules for participation

I think that once you win 30 buy ins at a level, you can start taking cautious shots at the next level up.

i only play on poker star. lately i play a lot on sit and go but most of the time i prefer to play frerroll. I level up the buy-in level each time I manage to increase my bankroll by 40 buy-in.

A fun challenge is to put in about 10k cash game hands at a level.

If you can maintain a positive winrate then try the next level.

A bankroll challenge I was thinking about was this, I think it would be cool

20k hands at 1c/2c
50k hands at 2c/5c
100k hands at 5c/10c
250k hands at 10c/25c
500k hands at 25c/50c
1 million hands at 50c/1$

And then from there just play whatever games are best.

The important thing though is to not get caught up on which limit you are playing, but jsut playing within a bankroll that you feel both comfortable AND engaged with, and focus on getting in great games.

Hope that helps!!!

Not sure about that. Fine if you have a job and don't mind reloading but I think it's cutting it a bit fine if it was your one and only bankroll. Variance can hit hard, you going to want to handle a couple of terrible sessions in a row and only dropping one level, not multiple levels. Most say around 100 for MTTs which sounds fair, maybe 75 at the lower, micro stakes.

Personally I play on Pokerstars, I can buy-in for as much as $5.50 a game but usually I play a lot lower levels, I don't intend to make money from Poker it just happens that if I am winning, the money follows but it is not my driving desire to make money, for me Poker is a fun and enjoyable pastime, and I only play to support my hobby.
My main rule of thumb is never to buy in for more than 1% of your total bankroll, and sticking to that rule I went from Free-rolls into 25 Cent buy-ins then on to 50 Cent, $1.00 Dollar games and so on, now as I say I could buy-in for $5.50 and still be within the 1% rule, but I am happy playing for lower stakes.
On-line Poker is just practice for me, for when I play live games in Pubs and casinos, Live Casino games are different in that I can hold my own when playing in a live game, and buy-in for a lot more but again I don't need to make money, I play for the pure pleasure the game gives me.
The important thing to remember is to play with money you don't need, and can afford to lose, then Poker does not become a problem, because 80% of the time you will lose, it's a fact of life, and even the best players in the World will have losing streaks.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

Hello.
For starters, try creating a bankroll by playing freerolls. It is quite real and I am sure that everyone can do it, it only takes patience and time.
Good luck.

It's not something you necessarily hear a lot, but playing too low can be destructive in a similar way to playing too high.

If there's no significance to the stakes, it's hard to think of them as precious or worth fighting for, and easy to slip into bad habits.

Yes, indeed, the first deposit is simply required on this site to access the full range of freerolls and for the possibility of further withdrawals. But I think a $ 10 deposit is available to anyone who has a computer and the Internet.

Where do you live what country and what state?

I just wanted to ask where everyone was playing and what a good time commitment would be for each "level"
I'm in Virginia and I play on the chico Network but I'm soon moving to ACR
The action is pretty soft considering what year we're in because the players have certainly gotten a lot better over the past 10 years the lowest cash game they offer is NL 10. I would say you at least need a bank roll of $150 and you should certainly go through driveHUD open an account there first it is free for 30 days through this link and then you can go through them to get to bed online that way you'll be receiving right back and you'll have drivehud which you certainly need in this day and age playing without it is insane I would say at NL10 you should remain there until you have mastered beating that game and you have at least 20 buy-ins for NL25 even better if you have 30 or 40...
Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

I play on pokerstars. In the near future, I plan to play only freerolls and increase the level of my game, since I lost my entire deposit, although not very large
