Hi ,
I've been playing NL holdem arround a year and managed to win some MTTs (very little).
I know about pot odds some about position play , little about EV and Applied Odds.

I was wandering , in which stage (and how) I can make my poker play better?

I play in AP and PS and from time to time i find myself doing donk moves like pushing all in with hands like flush draws on flop and losing it all getting called by top pair. (sitting in 0.25/50$ with 20$ each time).

I want to start building a BR , make my game better and with patience move to the upper limits (also played 0.5/1 a little).

I know it takes time to make my game better , but its difficult to improve when you play with donks or don't have someone to learn from.

also , can 2-3 hours of gameplay each day in the week lead to BR growth ?

Thank you.

if your going to play .50/.25 you need to buy in for the max $50, frist of all.
i use a site called grinderschool, if your playing micro stakes its like $10 a month for 10nl and below. if you play above that its $20 for all stakes.

you mite want to try it for a month for $10 just to see what you think. the price is right. you can also get 3 months for $34

sounds like you maybe playing above your bankroll. if you have $100 bankroll. you need to have at least 10 buy-ins for the stake you are playing. so you would want to play 10nl, because you have 10 max buy-ins for 10nl if your just starting out i would pay 5nl.

some people even say you should have 20 buy-ins, but i think 10 is fine.

10nl means the max you can buy-in for $10, and the blinds are .10/.5
you always want to buy-in for the max. and never let your stack get below $10.

Why I want to have the max ? In case I catch , to max my profit ?

yes, to get the max profit. if you go to grinderschool they explain everything in the videos. they even have some free videos to watch.

i think most of the training sites have free videos to watch, i use grinderschool because the price is right for me.

if your just starting out, they have micro stakes videos 10nl and below.
i have not seen this on other training sites. so grinderschool maybe right for you.

check it out and let me know what you think.
