When playing online poker wife constantly distracts me and I start to make mistakes in the game for often leading to large losses in chips, and sometimes to the loss, as not only tried to explain to her but she does not hear me I'm furious. : Banghead:

how often are you playing? Maybe she feels pushed out if you're playing a lot.

All you have to do is sort out a time where you can say "this is my downtime, I just want to play some poker" but make sure at the same time you're giving her time.

I told her many times to explain that I can not live without poker but it is difficult to understand. I want to start doing it more gifts can then understand.

mate , dont go vs ur wife's words.. if she doesnt like it , then u Need to curb it for the time being or Play only when she s not there.. otherwise it lll lead to Family crises which can be very bad for your Family.. so be sensible n wait for right time before playing poker.. poker s not going anywhere , n i would advice Family first before poker .. best of luck

Play began when he was married.

Just agree a time you can spend playing poker interruption free.

Dont just give in to her, that sets a bad precident. A healthy relationship needs give and take.

Set time where wife/family and poker time will not overlap.

Luckily I do not have that problem both played poker , I actually teach you a lot and we have different ways to play ... we are very competitive between us and that makes us better I try to learn from it .. and the only criticism I ja and, well unfortunately I will not never would pass the pasword of cardchat , because I win I wiii

Look with all do respect (I use to have the same issues with my wife), the answer to the problem lies in how you explain your situation.

So your wife wants attention, and she feels that poker Is taking a bigger chunk of your time and thus you're not really spending time with her in the end, and you are saying "I can't live without poker in my life". Now from the wife's point of view when you stated "I can't live without poker", this is how she understands your words "I can't live without poker", So he's implying "He can live without me"? To be fair at first that was my wife's thought process (I could totally be of on this, but am just trying to help). So the solution to the issue is as follows, you sit down with your wife/girlfriend, and tell her, "Look sexy, I love you" (always an excellent start ), Than explain to her why poker is so important to you (She deserves that much at-least correct)? After-wards If she still doesn't comprehend, explain to her your goals for the game of poker and (How you would also treat her), If all fails, get her addicted to the game .

Ur friends wife finally became interested in poker after several of my wins and wins. I bought her flowers and expensive perfume to win she was happy and even started cheering for me in games.

Dude take care of your wife first Im sure she takes care of you. Dont let poker consume your life. I understand where your coming from because mine complains sometimes but I play way too much. Now she waste time doing facebook etc. Wish internet never existed.
