I made 15 posts. Spent all morning reading and posting on the forum. I Deside to join the $100 added $5.50 buy in on FULLTILT. Not to say anything bad about anyone...Although while during the tourament. I have to fold to a guy who clearly outdraws my hand. After meantioning how that always seems to happen on FULLTILT. I am told that I should shh...Because I rush posted 15 posts and that I should be happy to be in the touranment. Everyone at the table talked up how well everyone plays and that THIS ISN'T your typical $5.50 touranment on FULLTILT. After which a guy calls an all in on the flop with low pair, and then calls my all in later on the tournament with Q5 suited. Amazing how great they play on this site!!! I'm sorry for joining!!! This will likely be my last post! And As for anyone reading this, if your tring to join an active posting fourm, where there are alot of slightly above average players. This is your site. If your looking for GREAT players who actually TRY to play the right way CONSITSTANTLY, this probably isn't the site for you. Not to meantion someone can come right in and play freerolls, but for buy in players who are looking for money added, you have to make 15 freaking posts and spend endless hours talking to people who feel there alot better than everyone else at poker.

Just say the word and it will be your last post (I almost treated your post as a request anyway).

But by all means hold Cardschat accountable for the table talk of the thousands of members who play in the freerolls. It's in no way a gross overreaction.

Weren't you at our table? I don't believe any comments made about play were directed at you... Suckouts happen, I can't speak for everyone, but I welcome new players to our games. It keeps the games fresh.

:D

Why not post HH of the hands you have mentioned above, if there are such bad players playing in said games, then why can't you beat bad players?
This may be your last post but you will be here every weekend to play in the FT freeroll I bet.
If you think the buy-in was bad, wait until the freeroll.

Guess we will miss you then. You played on a table with some great people. That was some quick judgement you passed.

Sorry you feel that way. You should remember that this is basically a forum event, and the folks here know each other. As with any group you are unfamiliar with, it is usually good practice to be calm and relatively quiet until you are at least acknowledged. NOT TO SAY shut up and be nice, but rather that the most significant thing you could say would be with your play.

Many have walked your path before, some have succeeded, some not. I'll guess you will put yourself in the 'not' pigeonhole.

As for your game, you didn't make it against these players. Bitter doesn't cut it. Perhaps acknowledging the fact that perhaps they are better players, OR you had a really bad day would help.

During the tournament

I was told 1st IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING (or something to that effect). I took this to mean that I have (with a negative comment about fulltilt), disrespected the wishes of everyone else in the tourament. I was to be labled a cry baby and that my imagie was tarnished FOREVER.

Yea - but we are such a nice forgiving and forgetful bunch - just say the other word and we will welcome you with open arms.

This will likely be my last post!

Why, whenever people say this, is it invariably not the case?

I'm deleting some of your spam-to-15 posts btw OP, in case you wonder where they've gone. You have two choices from here, you can move past all this nonsense and become a contributing member of the community, or you can throw another silly tantrum and get banned. I'm not particularly bothered which it is.

I know where I stand in poker...

I don't feel that I'm the best poker player in the world. But I know my personal ablities and I make an alright living playing poker. I haven't had a JOB in over a year and I'm not saying that makes me better than everyone else. But what I am tring to say....Is I don't need other people to tell me I'm good. It takes alot to be able to support yourself and pay the bills when you have no real sourse of income. So I could care less if people think I'm the worst player in the world. The one thing that is EXTREMELY different about me is...No madder if I'm playing for Nikels, dimes, quarters, dollars or 1000's of dollars I still try to play my best game and win. And I get just as upset over losing a 5 dollar tourament as I do a 60 dollar one.

No it did not but I wanted him gone bad at that point.

But I really think he needs to calm down and give him 24 hours to re think this also maybe I don't know but possibley had way to much to drink.

I get this why sometimes but I try to be a happy drunk.

Good luck

As for the Q5 suited (I'm about 90% sure it was Q5 and not Q4). No it didn't win, my AJ held up. Although the SAME player ended up with JJ or QQ preflop when I shoved all in on a 7 high flop with 88. And I didn't cry about this hand when I got beat. Just really upset me how everyone was talking about how great players are on there....Then less than 10 minutes later I see the player that ended up knocking me out.... Call an all in with low pair on the flop and call my all in with Q5 suited. Maybe I'm not the brightest star in the sky, but I wouldn't say that these were good plays. Nor am I tring to say that this is the norm. I was just pointing out how intersting the whole string of events unfolded

I wasn't there. But I can tell you that even though most of us know each other in the buy-ins, that doesn't mean that we all play perfectly. I know of a few members with over 1000 posts who IMHO play pretty badly. Becoming a CC member and posting a lot doesn't magically make you a perfect player. Most of us are still learning.

But the difference between me and you is that you must have said something about the donkey plays and that got you the kind of response that it did. Just don't say anything and play on. Just be the "Donkslayer". I never say anything for 2 reasons: 1) I want to remain friends with many of the CC donks here. LOL! 2) I don't want them to play better than they are now.

Anyway. This place is great and I hope you stick around. Make friends and contribute. You'll learn a lot and gain some buddies. Cheers!
