I had my best finish in the 5.50 Starts tourney yesterday, was short stacked the entire hand, only played 3 hands AJ 2x, and ATs for a bit. Got AJ for a 3rd time and as a short stack was called by at, runner runner straight to split pot frustrated me. But I stuck with it playing the short stack, till the button and sb limped in and with a 3500 stack with 600 blinds made a move with a6 and got called by qj and finished 187 (135 was money) I didn't see the 5.50 before, wouldn't have wasted money on the $11 buyins had I. The one thing that really screwed me over though was I had just doubled up, 1k short of average chip stack, and a short stack in early position goes all in, everyone folds to me on the button I have QK and just call thinking it's a coinflip, and the BB does so also
Board is xAQ, 2 hearts and the BB goes all in and I think I"m beat so I lay it down. He shows K2s (flush draw) and the short stack shows 99, I'm irate that he bluffed into an empty pot as another Q came on the turn and he missed his draw
