I just have a curiosity.. Anyone here play poker for livin???.. if someone does.. how much was youre initial bankroll. how do you get it.. with freerolls or making an initial deposit..? i just wanna now how far is possible to go playing poker, i mean online poker..

I guess I can say I play for a living because I do not work and poker does afford me a lot of luxuries. The deposit varies from person to person, some will have build from freerolls and stuff but for me, if the skill and understanding of the game is there and it can be afforded, skip the micro micros and depo like 250 and play 10nl.

Drop $500 on Stars or Full Tilt and play the level where you feel comfortable playing. Try to do BRM.

See how long that lasts for you.

That will tell you a lot about you ability, and if you can make a living at poker or if it should just be a hobby.

If you don't have $500 to throw away like this, just play poker as a hobby and get a real job.

whatever you do DO NOT rank your game due to freerolls...if you have enough confidence then make a small deposit to test it out...apply bankroll mgmt no matter what and if you do good then roll with it...never forget to manage you BR tho...and if you lose a few games in a row take a break...never play poker mad...EVER...cool off and move on to the next hand/game when you think your ready...dnt play for a living but imn debating this aswell...goodluck in all ya do !
