Hi all,

I had a pretty big breakthrough in my game play tonight. I was hoping to ask a favour of you all.

In tonights blog entry I've re-created 8 hands that, I felt, made or broke a tournament. Could I ask for you to replay the videos and post your comments/thoughts/feedback on how they were played.

Link here - The will to win must be greater than the fear of loss.

Special thanks to Icemonkey, you were right mate, it was fear preventing success. Thank you for your advice, it certainly paid off.

Look forward to hearing all your feedback and thanks in advance for taking the time to do this. With your comments, I fell my game can only get better.

Good luck and fortune to all of us.

1. The AQ suited is a easy fold imo, your dominated or flipping against 2 vilians OOP in a 3bet pot.
Good fold.

2. At this stage in the SNG i prefer raising 3xBB(early im raising 4xBB but when the blinds get around 50-100/75-150 i usualy change to 3BB exept if i have a huge chiplead) since the blinds are that large compaired to stack sizes that you whount be geting mutli callers.
Its just a blind steal gonne bad and a then a good fold.

3. The 88 i might actualy consider open pushing from the SB. Your down to 11BB(not bad since its a turbo and every ones stack is low).
After you raise 4BB your not geting away from this and the call is the best play imo.

4. Yeah your geting a good price to call but this is a fold imo. With 3people left to act behind you your vulnurble to a re-raise from the BB or one of the limpers.
If you where last to act i whould have called.
After the flop its a easy call you got almost 13-1 to call the shorty with 2 overs and a gutshot.

5.Not much i anlysis needed here just a simple re-steal with the best hand :).

6.This is a good fold imo,its much more important at this stage to get your money in first with some FE then call all your chips of with a small pair.
I rather push with J8 the next hand then call here.

7.your likly to have the best hand and even thou your likly to get multi callers this is your only chance to get back into this and maby even win(like u did) if u fold you might cash but i whouldnt count on it so i think the call is the right move.

8.With a ace,3handed, with a quarter of chips in allready this doesnt need much anlysis.

Glad to see someone is getting some hands to throw up i've had a super uneventful session but anyway here goes on your hands.

1.Easy fold. 2 raises into the pot already at this level, easy to fold and wait for your spot.

2.Tricky spot, go to steal and get called then shoved, not ideal but you did well to fold it there.

3.Coinflip we won, which is always fun you really couldn't put him on anything other then 2 overs there.

4. Short stack min raising/limping into a 4 way pot is sure sign they want as much chips in as they can get, which smells of strength, im usually folding here even if it wasn't the SS at this stage, the hand pretty much plays into your hand post flop, which again, is fun.

5. Nice read, you sure had alot of fun this run (i was about to say that being chip leader is fun :p.) being the chip leader bossing the short stack with your mighty stack :).

6.nice fold, that's a spot im usually auto shoving myself.

7.again having more fun tripling up.

8.Any Ace three handed being the short stack is shove worthy, you had more fun getting lucky again.

Good job mate hope you continue your fun run :).

i agree with sindri about u raising too much preflop when ur low on chips, something like 2.5bb and 3bb does the trick and u dont risk as much chips as when u bet 4bb, like in the second hand, u bet 600 of ur 1600 stack with the intention to fold to a reraise, if ur not planning on playing for ur stack u need to raise a bit less. that said, if ur an overwhelming chipleader it is good to throw ur stack around and bully the other players, so if ur a big stack 4bb raise isnt so bad but it isnt as profitable when ur short on chips

Stop raising/calling with such a small stack.
Re-stealing with AJ is fine if you think he is stealing wide.

Most of these hands that you raised, or flat-called, that people are saying "raise less" or w/e.. just push, raise/folding that A6 hand is horrible. Raising 88 is pretty bad, just shove.
