Am looking for some advice from a player who has been there and built a bankroll.

In endevouring to grind out a bankroll, what is the best format of SNG to play.

Single Table or Multi Table SNG's ? (not looking to multi-table a lot, 2 games max)

Thanks

Obviously, the less tables and players involved, the less variance there is so the easier it is to finish in the money in a single table SNG.

And it is a grind to build a decent bankroll from SNGs. A good player can expect a ROI of 15-20%. That means in order to win $100, you have play in $500 worth of SNGs, or 50 $11 SNGs or 100 $5 SNGs.

Make sure you have a minimum of 30 buy-ins for the level you are playing because variance is a b***** and 5,6 or 10 swings without cashing happen, to even the best.

My current streak is not cashing in 8 straight at the moment (super tilt) and my ROI over 1500+ games is 28%.

Wow. Thanks for the info. I was wondering about that as well.

If your just starting out you can gain experience on the bodog beginner SNG's where they payout to the top 5 places on a 10 opp table @$2.20 or $4.40 and pokerstars have double or nothing SNG's which double your entry fee for the top 5.

If the site of choice is pokerstars I would recommend playing the 9 person sngs, and play as many as you are comfortable with at a time. As duffer said, you need to play a lot of sngs to build a roll and the swings are massive.

I would recommend throwing some 90 person sngs in the mix sometimes to keep your mind fresh and also you have a shot of winning 25 times your buyin.

I would recommend sticking with playing at a limit that you have 40 buy ins minimum and 50 buyins for the multi player sngs.
