We were having a chat after the game, about who liked which type and why.
Some said that the six seater was quicker because there are fewer players.
Others said the nine had more money in the pot.
The six seater advocates were shot down, because playing Sit& Go there is a column giving the number of hands played per hour. When both types have 120+ hands per hour they are
equal.
Outcome, play nine seater tables with 120+ hands per hour.

Your hand needs to be stronger pre in 9-max. 6 max is preferred.

6-Max is probably the better ROI place to be, but I definitely prefer 9-Max myself.
Online 6-Max is too much coinflipping all day. Even at higher-stakes it basically feels like freerolls.

Each time I read a Poker Pro player Vlog or article or testimony I see that they recommand always 6 players tables for begginers and to build a decent bankroll since 6 players tables are considered with less varriance and more affordable when it comes to reading, analysing or understanding your opponents on the table for my self I play so often on 9 players tables.

Six max will always be preferred. There is more playability. Full ring you have to play tighter. 6 max the skilled player has the advantage. If you're seated with a less skilled player you have much more opportunity to exploit them. The level of aggression changes six max you need to be more aggressive. Your range changes in full ring EP forces you to play much tighter than 6 max. You can increase your value bets in 6 max and profit more making your value bets look bluffy. Really only con is higher variance in six max. Other than that 6 max is the clear champion.

If the game takes place in my cache tables, then I prefer to play for 6 people, and if in tournaments it's better for me to have 9 people on the table, but sometimes I have to play in tournaments with 6 players on the table but for me it's bad and very small the amount of prize money!

Both

I have to say I prefer a 9 seat table, but a 6 seater can be fun too. I like how 6 man tables seem to increase hand strength.

gday all..6 or 9 player tables are ok for me..adjusting your play is key..smaller count means smaller openings ,smaller strength,varience...and vice versa....thanks darrell

6-Max. It is much better to bluff as I like, you have less chance of losing. In addition, the gameplay is more dynamic and it is not so boring to wait when you do not have to play.

I enjoy 6 when I'm ultimately focused on just that game. 9 if I'm multitasking and doing something else, as it seems to take more patience and stronger hands to make a play.

I like the 9 person tables, think they are easier to multitable and you can play a bit tighter.

I prefer 9 players at the table more than 6.
I do not know if I just like the 9 dining room anymore, I'm used to playing like that.
Of course sometimes I play 6 table, feel myself not comfortable

Hi all , from my side, I've been staying away from 6max so that i can focus more on tournaments and 9max, i almost feel that they're different games 6 vs 9 handed , almost. ....

I tend to play on 6-max tables when I play cash games. If I play tournament, it doesn't matter, but again, 6-max is preferable.

9 handed you must play tighter but in 6 max your range opens up a lot which gives the skilled player a advantage. I like both equally depending on the table line up.

if you have a good hand, and if you bet big, best 9 hands, you can win 30% more.

I prefer the tables for 9 seats. I think I have more chances to win here.
