There are many articles and books on sit'n gos, but like me a qualified article: The art of the single table sit-n-go - by Danny "THE_D_RY" Ryan; from Danny Ryan.
There you can find very good information on sng.

Actually it depends on the number of players on sit n go. But M value is also important. If I play against many fishes, play only the best hands. But if there are some good players on the table, I try to trap them from the beginning of the tourney. When I get too many chips, then tighten up again and only play the best hands. But at the final table when the blinds gets higher, I try to steal it from the tihgt players.

Sit n Goes

Tactics depends on number of players. For a 10 person sit n go, (depending on buy in) low level buy ins double up early and wait out premium hands, for 18 or more players play tight and try to build up chips for final table, make note of the bullies so you can bust them out when you get your premium hands, they love to try and steal blinds, and are usually over confident with sucking out if they have succeeded with suck outs early. I usually open up both tables on a 18 player sit n go so I can see how the other players are playing on the other table.
