It's a gift card I can chose to receive as gift - it works as debit card. Beyond that I do not know much. Do visa debit cards work in general or no?

It depends on the bank that issues it. If you read the fine print on the card, card website, or ad flyer, it usually says what bank issues the Visa or mastercard.

Visa Debit works fine for me. They have exactly the same functionality as Credit Cards now (in the UK at least).

What didn't work for you - a visa debit card? Please be more specific.

His title states SIMON Visa Debit Card. So I am talking about the pre-paid debit / gift card you get from Simon.

I'd bet he's asking because he is here in Amerika where we can't be allowed to think for ourselves, and has to find a way to deposit.

We are close to only having one option at the moment, Western Union, or Moneygram or some such.

I got in just before the Visa Gift Card from All Access stopped working, that was a shame cause they were above the candy rack at the local supermarket.

We can't use Netteller, and E-passport has gotten peculiar, seems some can, but some can't.

I might soon try going to a local, foreign owned bank, to inquire about possibilities. It's a bit of a drive to the closest one. In my case I am looking for a Mexican owned bank doing business here in SoCal.

So if anyone has new methods that they actually have experience with, we need to know.

I agree. The deposit options are getting ridiculous already.

I use a visa debit card for deposits at Titan. They also use click and buy if you have someone willing to let you use their card. All other options for deposit the Credit Card has to be in your name.

But you're using Titan so you're not from the US so you don't have these problems.
