Showing hole cards while hand in progress

From the main event. Never seen this done before :-

before the flop. The flop came Q 10 3 , Azaria bet 500, and his opponent folded. After the hand, Azaria had 10.2K in chips".

Hank Azaria? Isn't that the guy who does voices for The Simpsons?

wonder if he said 'DOH' as he flipped over the Aces

Maybe he didn't catch that the guy to his left called? Sort of like "aw, crap, you all folded when I had rockets."

It is, hes in lots of films too but for the life of me can't think of one. Was married to Helen Hunt and is good buddies with Phil Gordon (In Phil's Little Green Book he talks about home games he plays with Hank and some others).

As to why he would show, have to go with FP's explanation as it would be pretty stupid otherwise.

Side note: Anyone see Jenniffer Tilly playing in Poker SuperStars 3? I didn't catch the whole episode but she was running over everyone, hard to concentrate with her ahem, assets hanging out. lol

He played Phoebe's scientist nerdy boyfriend in Friends, I think, for one.

He played the Latin houseboy in Robin Williams' "Birdcage" movie a few years back.
