There are times when your investment in the bank does not bring any monetary compensation or useful information about the strength of the enemy's hands. This happens when an opponent bets, and you discard cards to pass.

Before you give the dealer card, the opponent will have to decide whether to show the card to other players or to keep them secret?

It turns out that before the only remaining participant in the hand with a dilemma: "To expose whether to show the winning hand, if in fact there is no need"

If you got on the reasonable grounds that show or hide. I show the card at the tournament if the mood is not very important for me. Sometimes, to, to get the opponent into error.

You need to keep your opponent in ignorance, then he will make a mistake.

I rarely show my cards. Only when it is a small event (for example CC freeroll as it was earlier)
And then - out of respect for opponents

I do show sometimes. Like when the flop is AQJ and I got TT but have been put all in. Then sometimes I show. Otherwise its pay to see.

I hardly ever show my cards but if I do I show at least top pair as a min to deter players from calling me the next time I raise.

Showing occasional strong hands makes your bluffs more believable.

I do not show the card, in order to mislead opponents. Let them guess whether it was a bluff or a thoughtful move, with a good hand.
So the game becomes more interesting.
