With poker being a game of incomplete information , I believe in the theory that never showing your cards is best . I do believe there can be exceptions in certain games that showing cards could tilt a player to play worse vs you but I find these to be rare . I believe that giving the least amount of information to my opponents will offer me the best chance to win so no I don't show my cards unless forced to .

I show a lot if I'm playing microstakes. It puts people on tilt. I don't really show at the higher levels because they would take a lot of notes of my actions. Unless I get a walk with AA or something :D

I'd rather not show my hands at all because it gives the villian more information on your playing style, and they can beat you easily if they figure out how you play

The only time I show is when I'm in the bb with aces and I get a walk.

when you play like a shark cash games and you get just bad cards is nice to show the bluff for people to create a bad image on your game and other players belive you play like a donk . After this you change your game wait good cards and take all money to other players .

Never ever show your hand, even it's a bluff. You might as well check back the nuts if you're just gonna show it without a showdown anyways. Unless you know for sure that the person that folded will go on super ultra monkey tilt if they see it. lol

Show or not it depends from with which players you are playing, but this is only your decision, someone like to show his hands trying to win the next hand.

I have stuck with this and i have seen many people like doyal and slim do this. I never show unless its a nice big bluff. that way you let people know your capable of pulling it off. and it also might induce more action when you do get a premium hand so that you get payed off. never show a made hand make them pay!

When you make a big bluff and you showdown air its a great way to set your opponent on tilt. I know it all too well sadly.

This is probably the only advantage we can have from showing our cards, works especially well in heads-up. Keep in mind that your opponents will now expect you to bluff so only show if you intend not to bluff again.

I sometimes show good hand like big pair if everybody fold before flop, especially if I push a lot on buble time or later. But you never show the bluff! I think that is not good because someone will tag you and later or on some other tournament you can be caught in bluff.

Personally, I never show my hands, but I've often seen other players show a bluff. I try to ignore this, buy I've seen it be effective against other players (and YES, even against me), as I am then trying to guess if this next big move is a bluff or does he actually have something this time. I do believe that it can lead to other players paying you off when you do get something.
