depends on the situation, and timing of the tournament. I not think you should never displayed the cards, there are times it can be very beneficial mostras the cards

I play online only so I enable the "auto muck" setting always. When I am finally able to play live games I've decided that I might show very occasionally in a live game *IF* I thought doing so would contribute to an opponent going on tilt. Showing one's hand any other time that it is not absolutely required to do so is giving opponents free information.

There are times when your investment in the bank does not bring any monetary compensation or useful information about the strength of the enemy's hands. This happens when an opponent bets, and you discard cards to pass.

Before you give the dealer card, the opponent will have to decide whether to show the card to other players or to keep them secret?

It turns out that before the only remaining participant in the hand with a dilemma: "To expose whether to show the winning hand, if in fact there is no need"

Keep them secret, why give up any advantage that you have?

I'll show them once in awhile so that I can project a certain image to the rest of the table. If I want them to think I'm a tight player I'll show my premium hands, it makes it easier to bluff later on. Sometimes I'll show my bluffs, this might make it easier to get some callers with a premium hand. You just have to be aware of the image you're representing and take advantage of that.

Everything depends on the hand as it was played ... sometimes I show my hands, to confuse even more my opponent

You can show, for example, when you bluffed and won big pot, then your oppents maybe will tilt, but its risky, better dont show, if you are not confident!

I sometimes show a card when I'm folding because I'm potentially beaten. The reason i do this is to let my opponent know that i wasn't just chasing or bluffing. My thought is that it might make them thing twice about my cards the next time.

i prefer to show them every once in a while, that way you can confuse your opponent and he wont be able to read your bluff :)

Keep it a secret as much as possible...if u played a good bluff u can brag about it...it is about the image you want to set in opponents mind..good luck at the tables

I tend to show my cards in final tables but only to make my opponents think i am a foul and then i change my strategy and use the appearance to my advantage

rarely show my cards. I think that not having the Nats would do it because if you want to see them have to pay, you better stay with the question.
