Started with a 25 dollar bankroll, up to 32 dollars. Sattied into The Record Breaker in a 60c sattelite.

Had an awful day at the tables yesterday and down to 16 bucks. Should i withdraw from The Record Breaker and get the 5 dollars credited to my account? It seems the 5 dollars is better served resuccitating my BR and that 5 bucks is out of BRM to be playing a MTT with...

Or is this prize pool so gigantic it's worth me playing?

Thoughts?

*** How difficult do you think it will be to end up ITM? At a $5 buy-in will this really end up a donkament?

Just my opinion, everybodys got one, lol.

I would play it!

The 5 bucks would help you for anymore down swings that you might have, but not that much.

And if you make it in the top 7500 you get 15 bucks I think. If your a good solid player and pick your spots early on, I think you can make it there.

Good luck which ever way you decide. :)

From a BRM perspective seems like a simple decision, take the $5.

I say play it. I am playing it. Yes I would not normally buy in maybe, but I satty'd in as well from the freeroll. The way I look at it is free entry to do something I prob would not normally.
It is totally up to you and good luck if you play

That's what led to this crossroads. Trying to decide how easy it'll be to end up ITM. Also, I'm trying to grind the 2NL table up until the tourney to see how high I can get the roll to. Up to $17 so far.

You are getting double pay out odds in this. $5 x 50 k people ... $500k payout. That should help you make the decision ... you dont see that too often. And you can tell people you played in the 2nd largest field in online poker ..... pokerstars has 65k people in a $1 buy in ( payout $130k  )

I'll be in both so maybe I'll see you at a final table .. or 2 ??

This was a tough one for me as I think this is an excellent tourney with great potential return, but I don't think you should be investing that much of your bankroll on any tourney no matter how great the payout is.

If you decide to play though, good luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you unregister from a tournament, you only get T$ right? So, you couldn't use the $5 to play at the cash tables.

Also, it shouldn't be to hard to make the top 7500, then you just over 15X your money.

If he satellited in then you are correct. But he could still be more selective with the tourney $'s. $5 represents a huge chunk of his bankroll and he might feel he's better off playing 4 or 5 1$ SnG's.

Ya, he satellited in. It only cost him $.60 In my opinion, the risk vs reward is strongly in his favor to play. Because in actuality, It only cost him $.60 not $5.

Didn't know that. Decision made, I'll play. Provided I can be home for the whole thing :p

Thanks for the info and input guys, I was on the verge of withdrawing, thinking I could use the 5 bucks at the table.

I Think you should stay in the game. 7,500 getting paid and 250K added you cant beat that. You might be able to build a real BR through this game. You have to take some chances.

And paying that rake? Yuck. If the T$ is only good tour tourneys there really is no better opportunity.

I qualified but just unregistered because the game will start at 21:15 here and I must get up at 5am.

Chances are low that I could float in.

Good luck to all of you in, take it down- I need some sleep, too.

I would play it if it was mid-day, though.

Hehe It's afternoon for me (I'm EST just like FullTilt is) and so I played. Out in 12,405th though :( Gave it a a good run but no worries here. I brought my roll back up to 25 bucks by coming seocnd in a freeroll before this tourney started.

So back to where I started and at least I got a shot of playing in TRB for cheap :)

It was a fun tourney. Went out 2411th for $30. Was hoping for better but I guess I can't complain.
