sharkscope and pokerstars

I had read that pokerstars does not allow players to use sharkscope and if you open it while pokerstars is running they will know.

I use the 5 free searches every day(often just tracking myself) most of the time while pokerstars is running.

Has anyone ever got caught using it? what happened?

My buddy recieved an Email from pokerstars stating that they know he has been using sharkscope while playing at pokerstars and that this is against the ToS. So they warned him and told him any future use while at pokerstars would result in account closure and forfeiture of any funds.

I wouldn't risk it.

cool thanks yea i havent been opening sharkscope while I have pokerstars open.. According to Pokerstars we are not allowed to visit the Sharkscope site at any time. They couldnt possibly know where i go if I do it when the client is not opened right?

If the client isn't open they shouldn't be able to know what you were doing online. I believe that would be illegal. Unless they're the FBI with a poker company as their cover!
