Hey Everyone,

We all know that choosing the right table can be the difference from making money or loosing money... some tables might be a lot harder to make some money from... and others are just a piece of cake ;-)

I recently came across this site:

http://www.pokertableratings.com

it's such a great site, for informations on players that play the cash games...

under Tools, you will see... Table Finder.... click on it,
and here you can select your settings for your game room, and stakes...
and it will find your the best table to play at... filled up with lots of fish for you to eat up ;-)

Good Luck at the Tables Everyone ;-)

Eh, I don't put too much faith in PTR's stuff. Even their hand-tracking isn't 100% yet.

Sounds interesting. I usually spend a few minutes looking for a table that looks interesting. How much importance do you place on table selection and will you wait for a seat on a particular table?

PTR is a double edged sword. For some its great as they can exploit the casual player even easier, but bumhunting to a lot of people is ruining the online experience.

I believe using PTR while on Stars is a violation of their TOC?

I pick my table by it being open. can not better myself trying to find easy player. I rather play against somebody that challenges me, then somebody that will play like a donk.

Almost ALL skilled online players would say that table selection is important.

Im not sure where Mase gets his info but he seems to think that its unreliable. If it is, that creates several obvious problems.

I did notice that PokerTracker3 has a table finder but its a subscription service and Im not real sure on how that works either.

My question for the OP would be : Have you used it? Results/ findings?

I agree with this. online poker is a fantastic hobby/time killer/making money source. But with all this sniffing/bum hunting/poker tools out there, is any1 else thinking that the online poker world will bcome too hard to play at?
Any1 can track u up on ur cash game to see how good/bad u r or if ur a winning MTT/SnG player.

Bit freaky IMO but im jumping on the bandwagon as it's a tool to make extra money :D

All Poker Software seems to be against the rules at Stars, whilst playing.

It gives a list here
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/

Includes even Hold Em Manager and Poker Tracker

yeah umm with your link it tells you that you CAN use that software.

It says you CAN USE: "Tools and services that profile your opponents, but make use of only information which you have accumulated through your own play."

It then goes on to actually list them by name.

So HEM and PT3 are cool.

Yeah i'd rather play against a donk who chases every draw he has and doesnt care about the odds he's gettin lol.
I dont mind people challenging me too, but I find poker easier when im in pos against a donk who will stack off lightly.
