Job one is to protect your stack. Tobias only has one pair and the turn completed a flush draw. Also Scott indicated in the conversation (in a GREAT acting job) that he had top pair crushed. IF he has queens beat then it's not much a stretch to have AA beat.

And Tobias got himself in trouble by electing to trap instead of betting/raising, and he knew it.

Very disciplined fold

Good play, but the needle was too much. You can call yourself a poker genius like Kenny Tran did but you don`t talk about your opponent`s play EVER. Not cool.

WHen I watched this hand the first time live durin the event, and I saw the action and I saw the players, there is absolutely no way to fold aces here in this position. Even seiver's reaction was pricelss, there is no way thatit should have went down that way, the story did not make sense...

This once again confirms the excellent play from Scott.

great play by scott by tobias put him on to big a hand even though he had one pair it was still aces and scott didnt event put him on that big a hand so even though i would say i would have called under those circumstances probably a fold

Wow, Can't believe he folded AA. That was an ouchie.

Did the table ever show the river.??? Could have been a flush or str8.

Tobias is a top 10 player in the world for high buy in tourneys so I will accept he probably thought he had more equity folding in what he perceived was a marginal spot. He also did move up at least one place in the payouts, but that being said watching the hand made me sick to my stomach - Don't really have a viable reason to do so but I always root against Scott Seiver and Vanessa Selbst so this made it worse for me -lol. Also, I realize Seiver is a world class player but this wasn't a top play to me, just a really poorly played hand by Tobias which all of us do from time to time but relatively short stacked he should have been happy to get all in with AA pre flop or on flop - I would like to say Seiver's reaction was grossly over the line but it struck me he just honestly couldn't believe the fold which goes back to the point it wasn't a great play because he vastly underestimated Tobias' holdings in the hand.

I think Reinkemeier wasn't playing his A. He could it play way better. Also, look at Seivers face... And the talking. Either weakness or a flush, maybe some Q. Seivers play is very strong and he also might think Reinkemeier might have some med pair so he would have more outs. Bad play by Reinkemeier, strong by Seiver and it worked.
