My question is how do you play poker on weekends?
Many say that on weekends they leave to go with the family, and you?
How do you manage your game?
Prefer to play poker or go out for fun?
I don't think the day makes to much difference.
I think it is very important to keep notes on your sessions.
What stakes, how long you played, opponents, what day, what time, for how long, how did you feel when you started and finished etc etc.
After a year or 6 months analyse your scorecard and see what gives you the best results. You will see some interesting things. ie you lose often on Mondays but win on Thursday. Ask yourself why ?
Personally I liked to play live (in casino) on tournament nights. Two reasons ;
1) Tournament players are sometimes not good cash players. They get knocked out , and they come and play cash games and get cleaned up.
2) Everyone that gets knocked out of the tournament, normally has a hard luck story. ie. Idiot cracked my kings with A3 off....etc etc etc etc . This is very good for you as a cash player because before the person even sits down they are on tilt. It is quite easy to rev someone up at that stage, because they are already bubbling !
