Just a quick question.I won a sat. to the double deuce last week in the 36 person shootout for .75 + .10 .I ended up winning when I limped in to an aggresive player who reraise then I went all in with AK of diamonds to a Q8 of diamonds for the win and entry .I ended unregistering and then converting the funds to real money on FT.Did I do the right thing? I tend to want to unregister from any sat. winnings I win.Should I play the big tourney?Or should I take the money and bolt?Should there be certain times I play the big tourney?

Often times I do the same thing, although I never convert the tourney dollars into real money cause they take a percentage and I know i'll be able to use it on a tourney or SNG if I want to. I think they take 5-10 percent or so, so it's a ripoff to convert to real money, unless you plan on cashing out and not playing on the site anymore.

i always use my points on stars for satellites into bigger buy-in tournys
after qualifying, just unregister and use the money for SNG's instead of taking the long shot MTT.

If low on cash, take the cash. The exception being if you take the cash and win another sat right away, then take a stab at the bigger tourney.

I regularly play satelites win and unregister,I use the T$ to enter cheap buy in MTTS.I have had T$ for months to spare so my account balance doesnt go down although my T$ fluctuate up and down.If you are good at these satelites you can keep your bankroll steadily climbing .I occasionally take a shot at the bigger tourney but not that often. This is a grind it out strategy and probably boring for some, but for me it is a no risk to my bankroll,ez strategy to win consistantly.I hope this helps.

I'm faced with that question all of the time. I've decided that I'll always unregister and keep the tourney $$ instead of play in the big tourney. It's best to follow proper BRM and only play in tourneys if for 2% of you BR. It would be fun though...

Yeah you need to elaborate on whether or not you need the cash. If you allready have a bankroll you might as well take a stab at the big tourney and see if you can cash.
