:D Well , this is my second post on why I feel that all poker site freerolls are " fixed " . some of you think that my " chair theory " is just " nuts " , well , here's another theory that you might think that I'm just plain crazy . You might think this , but in my 2 years of playing freerolls at every site on the net , even tournaments that are not " Freerolls " , I have kept logs of all the tournaments that I have played in to back up my so-called " Crazyness " ! First of all , most of the poker sites use the same tournament program , this is a FACT ! In this program , the very same tournament is an exact duplicate of another tournament played before . I'm not saying that every single tournament repeats itself one right after another , but they DO REPEAT after a certain number of tournaments go by . These repeats are exact duplicates , card for card , hand for hand . The same exact cards are dealt to a certain player at a certain seat at the table , the Flop cards come out exactly the same , and the next 2 cards come out exactly the same , especially the same exact " River card " that killed you in a tournament before , kills you the same way again . For you non-believers of these facts , make a log of the tournaments that you play in , and prove it to yourself . I'm not saying it's easy , it's alot of work , but it will show you that my theory is correct . :hello: :hello:

How would this benefit the poker site in any way?
they could just as easily have a programmer make a program that generates random cards.
Also, how is it that you proved that this "same card theory" is true?
Can you show us the examples from your log that prove it?

whoops, hit post too early... think about... what was Vegas like when it first started? How did they operate before the law cracked down on them? Money makes the world go round, and online poker sites are no different than any other greedy corporation. Power of the dollar. If they make a million a day in rake they would be thinking about how they can make 2, greed has no boundaries. I think within 5 years there will be a huge media story about the online poker scam.

i'm sorry zippo, but if online poker is rigged, you'd think they'd be a little more creative then that. personally i have a hard time believing that you actually have any "evidence" to back this up (though if you do, by all means post it here and prove me wrong) but it seems to me that if they did want to rig the outcome of these games (though i can't imagine any reason to rig freerolls) they could do so without leaving any sort of paper trail behind, as after all, if they are cheating, you wouldn't think they'd want anyone to be able to find out about it just by keeping a log of their play.

To ' ChuckT's , NateofDeath , and anyone that still is an unbeliever and keeps defending this whole rigged thing called on-line poker . Just one question . Did you guys see the report on MSNBC ? You should have , it would have let you see the light once and for all . These sites are stealing your money left and right everyday . Hey Chucky baby , tell MSNBC to show you prove . Oh , I forgot , they showed thousands , or millions of viewers just how crooked these sites are . KEEP ON TRUCKING !

we were asking for your proof sir, that you claimed you'd found. I missed the MSNBC report (i must admit to not watching the news). is such information available online?

and i think the point that anyone who would disagree with you is trying to make is that with all the money that these sites can make (the big ones at least) from rake and tournament fees, why risk your reputation by cheating people who are willing to just, essentially, hand you their money for the privlage of playing on your site?

believe me, with some of the crap i've seen playing online, i've been tempted to play the 'rigged' card too, but i've yet to see any viable evidence. please produce it for us, or help us find it, so that we may better understand your point of view. thanks.

zippo, I understand you are upset and I get that way too, and I tend to believe things are rigged as well, but I still play and win. I missed the article as well and searched for it on msnbc and didn't find it. Can you post this log of yours so we an see? or better yet give us a link to this article about the online poker scam?

Answer?

Plus many people have hundreds of hands in pokertracker and haven't noticed anything. Surely if your 'theory' was true then people would have noticed and would have hard PT data to show it.

Conclusion: *Insert something to do with tinfoil hats here*
