With US players mostly playing live games, russian players have taken every online poker rooms by storm.

I still don't know whether they play for fun or to make money. (as Hellmuth says,"East European donks...")

Ever see a link between their driving skills and poker skills? If you youtube 'russian drivers roadrage' or 'russian accidents' you would see my point.

My question is are they really full of anger when they play poker?

I hope with Trump deescalating Russian tensions, more Russians visit US and play at the casinos. It will be really interesting...

.... russian players.....
My question is are they really fullr of anger when they play poker?

That You bias against Russians (as it seems, and many of your compatriots). : D
About what anger, You are asking? Russian players, in my opinion, do not differ from American, Canadian players or players from any European country. Here you, are playing full of anger? This question sounds ridiculous even. You that, frightened in childhood Russian? Or you never communicated with people from Russia, that asking such a strange (if not stupid) questions?
About myself I can say that I play with interest, without anger, but with passion and on money, albeit not large (otherwise lost interest and excitement).

Not only Russian players but also Ukrainian and Romanian players are unpredictable. The most annoying thing is that they're playing crazy RNG and they're in 8/10 incident winning ... :(

You guys are always welcome.

Exactly, we will be waiting for Russian action because all the casinos have become too stale here.

May be I should start a company for playing poker at different casinos across US targeting Russian players.

It will be the best boost for live poker in US.

I don't think they play with any more anger than any other people. I think that they are encouraged less than other countries, to speak English, so they come across quite sharp.

I think there are a lot of different people go all-in, but you usually find this in freerolls, not CC ones though !!! If they do it too much, they will go skint quite quick.

Not all people feel the same as I have come across some nice Russians, and although their English is not great, they manage to communicate well enough for me. (Mind you it is better than my Russian - LOL).

Aren't the Russian players like notorious cheaters? I always see them waiting in high stake heads up games...and they always get their cards

It depends on how big their range is? Not cheat anymore than Chinese or other countries.

And what's really disgusting, they often get too much luck with that crazy all-in on preflops :)

The more people that do that the better, easier to pick your spot and "Take em out" !!!! Good for you. :top:

Yes, I agree - Let's hope Trump manages to improve relations between USA and Russian?

+1 I don't understand these stereotypes too. I didn't notice that russians are anger players. I am russian and it is unpleasantly to read such words about us. All the nations have good and bad, agressive and passive players.

Yes, I am stereotyping because its funny when they go on tilt. It doesn't mean they are bad.

Have you heard the phrase, "Only in Mother Russia"?

I always think about russian drivers roadrage videos on youtube when they go tilt. Its just funny.

I fully agree with you.
Every nation has all kinds of players.
style and way of playing is not a matter of the country we come from, but understanding poker individual.

I also agree with the fact that each nation has its own aggressive players, well, Russian aggression in frerollah because they do not then they lose.

Yes, it is ridiculous to judge the Russian videos from YouTube and propaganda, of which full your TV. And there on YouTube does not show you how the Russians can sacrifice her life to save another person's life?

But only in mother Russia people are seeing as the girl lost control of the car flew into the river under the ice and two men rushed to her rescue, and themselves severely frost-bitten, but saved the girl, and while your would have waited for 911, the girl would have died.

I love how you're stereotyping a whole country of people here, I'm sure many Russians are awful players, much like the majority of players everywhere. But I bet there's some awesome players too.

In Russia there are several dedicated play areas, play there all you want. And in what country you live in, I don't know.

I approach every tournament the same, regardless of the buy-in.
Each player has a different opinion on how to play and strategy.

I think that would be very good ... every country could have its selection of poker players, the market would inflate and poker would easily be the most played game in the world
