Running down for the high hand

I have a question, because I haven't really seen it done before. Say everyone folds and it comes to the blinds and the blinds show each other their hands and decide to run it down for a chance at the high hand.

My question is, for the dealer, does he have to officially get the players to check each round or if the players agree, can they just say run it down and the dealer can run the whole hand down?

most the time they just take blinds back and get it over with, its better than losing the blinds, but im sure the dealer will run it down

However, if the blinds do share with each other what they have, most likely the casino will kill the hand and not allow a payout even if the high hand hits.

Typically what the blinds will say is something like, 'I think I'd like to play this hand', and then make sure there is enough of a pot (usually like $10 or $20) and then check call it down.

I always thought there had to be a minimum amount in the pot before the high hand could be won. At the local card place I play there hasto be 10 dollars in the pot. I have come so close to winnin some high hands, but eithermy kicker does not play or it comes up dry... If there was no minimum then it has tobe official play the whole way..

I asked the casino about this. If you are playing you have to be careful because the casino could consider it collusion. "I have a high hand possibility" is about as far as you can go. If the players share the hands with each other that is considered to be trying to cheat the system. They have to meet all the bad beat requirements and play the hand normally. The dealer is not allowed to run down the hand. Players have to check through and play the hand normally.
