Hiya fellas,
How are you? Hope you're well, it's been a while I haven't been around here :-(
Poker is having a very little time atm in my life.
Btw I'm seeking info about the legislation of running a live card room based n London, Uk that offers mainly poker games (plus some more skillfulish card/board games).
I'm having hard time seeking this type of info on google. All I find is either too generic or not enough accurate.
My aim is to get a general picture of the legislation and the investment costs of setting up a dedicated card room (not a pub/club/...).
All seems to emerge from my hunt goes for businesses already active from casinos to pubs ect BUT setting up a NEw Card room.
This website http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/Gambling-sectors/Gambling-sectors.aspx "should be" the one containing guidelines for gambling activities (apparently not for poker -wth!!!!- suggesting to seek legal advice!! -wth!!!again-
In UK pubs n clubs can offer poker games under strict regulation that applies limitation to the stakes. Still That's not relevant because I don't run a club.
The purpose of my research is to try shaping a business plan in order to get finalcial support to found the venue and the licening (but still...which license??????)
Any hint, idea, suggestion about how to or just about where to look for it VEry WELCOME.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
