What is the rule if a player accidentially turns up his hold card?
Can someone at the table announce what they saw to all, does the card stay up for all to view during the rest of the flop/turn/river cards?

I believe that in this situation everyone at the table is entitled to know what card/cards were exposed. Saw this in one of the wsop tourneys. Don't get to play much live so I could be completely wrong. One of our many experts will correct me if this is incorrect.

I believe Kenzie is correct. Also, the player who exposed the card may be warned or even banned from the game, especially if he has been responsible for other errors or irregularities.

Dont you have the right to show your cards in some cases? Like when someone bets at you, you can show them your cards to get a reaction?

I remember reading something like that somewhere. Or maybe its when other guys bet puts you all-in only.

Since i know telling other guy what your cards are when you bet is wrong.

You must not show your cards until all betting is finished. Usually, this would be after betting on the river card is complete but may be earlier in the hand if no further betting is possible because all but one player are all-in and that player has called.

Thanks Egon yeah thats right. So if youre heads up with a player and he bets and his bet would put you all-in if you call, you can show your cards before calling.

Anyone know what kind of reactions they look for when they do that?

Question

I don't mean when you are heads up/all in.
My question is during normal play with 8 players are involved and the flop has happened and a player ACCIDENTIALLY turns over one of theirs cards......... and then some players see it and some don't.... what do you do then.

Yes, we answered that.

All players at the table are entitled to see the card, and the dealer or whoever is in charge (I presume we are talking a home game ?) may warn or ban the player who made the error, if it`s thought that he is being careless.
