The Royal Flush

just wondering who has gotten a Royal Flush before?
If yes then i also want to ask, how long have you been playing before you got one?

Playing online roughly two years... still waiting.

I have one, hearts, flopped it, one other person in pot, checked flop, turn, bet 25c on river and he folded....whopping $1.60 in the pot. That was 3 months ago. I started playing about a year ago. Still pretty cool.

The very 1st time I ever played in a CC FR was at Ultimatebet several months ago. It was the very 1st hand of the very 1st game of the tourny! I was dealt K-10 spades, and the flop came off--A-Q-J of spades! Needless to say--I was dumfounde and had NO idea how I should play the hand! So I just checked and was checked around! On the turn popped the 4 of spades (4 spades onna board) so I min raise and was called by 1 player (the others just folde1) Then the riv was a 9 of hearts, I think and I min raised again and the last player folded!! I won about 300 chips I think! But I DID manage to cash! I had only been playing about 2-3 months at the time! I have gotten a BUNCH of straight flushes, though!

In May of 07, I got royals on back to back days.

My first royal was in a NL home game. A10 d flop came KQJ d. I got all my buddy's money when he hit a set of Q's. He flipped first and I told him he was drawing dead, he lost it "what do you mean i'm drawing dead". then I showed and he got it. Had one on Stars, flopped a top pair and gutshot straight flush draw, other guy had top pair and straight draw. We both hit the turn and I got all his chips too.

I have 2 of them so far. Both of them came with me on BB. And I did not bring in much at all. bad luck.

haha RickH2005 your story is pretty crazy, but i am with PokerVic, been playing for a while and still have yet to see one, i haven't even seen any straight flushes yet, hopefully i get some soon

I had two within a week of each other. I had been playing for about a year and a half online. Both were online. The first was diamonds; the second was clubs. I made them both in play chip ring games on Full Tilt. That was a couple months ago. It'll probably be another couple years before they come around again.

saw on a players only poker freeroll this weekend. royal flush of spades lol as it was a freeroll i think he tripled up

I have had 2, as luck would have it the 2nd one had a major pot with 3 players ending up all in, as MY luck would have it, I had folded preflop with Jh 3c. The 1st one was in Omaha, and I had been playing about 2 years when that happened.

Only one royal flush and i had been playing a couple of months. K high straight flush as well. I'm pretty sure you could play for ages and never see one tho.

1 Royal Flush in HORSE SnG, Limit Omaha H/L, got it on the turn.
1 King high Straight Flush in a live game of PL Omaha 8, got it on turn.
1 8 high Straight Flush in 7 Card Stud H/L

Had a Q high sraight flush only last week. Had [8c] [9c] and the flop came down [10c] [Jc] [Qc]..

Lo and behold the BB shoved all in. He had [Ac] [3c]

Perfect...

i got one some time ago, in a sng, didn't win much because the guy folded with a min bet. The board was

10c Jc Kc Ac

I folded the royal flush pre-flop once. I'll never fold J/10 suited ever again.

My biggest hand to date has been a J high straight flush.

I have never had a royal flush but i had a straight flush b4 56789. I betted out on the flop everyone folded... Did u guys saw the royal flush vs quad aces in one of the wsop 2008 events, poor guy...

For me it was about 2 years and I seem to remember getting them within about 1 month of each other. The other thing I remembered was I made very little money off them (wasn't up against quad 4s, lol).

I have had 2 both on T6 freerolls, but today has been a tease I have had a few near misses.
