What chips do you use for your home games? Any recommendations?

Any chip is good. Preferably more quantity for less price.

I use real money. Most recently, coins have been introduced in our country. Here they are used as chips.

I have a few different sets. The most commonly used it the dice, which you can find anywhere. I would only worry about using them if you have players who might sneak some chips into your game, and cause you to pay them out more than they brought in. For the most part, any chips work. I have played with everything from cardboard chips (really old), to some very nice and expensive clay chips at a private home game. As long as you have enough and they are valued reasonably, anything works.

I don't hate playing with coins and cash, but it slows the game down and also makes people a little tighter.

I have such chips at home. I bought a set for 600 rubles (about $ 10) and I do not regret it at all - the very thing for playing with friends =)
