Have you ever walked into a poker room and noticed a table in the corner where everyone sitting looks like their dog just died? That's the RAZZ table. I think that generally playing for the worst hand for hours on end begins to take a toll on your soul. If you put on your aura x-ray glasses, I'm sure that you'll notice the blackness surrounding that table. You can virtually see the positive vibes being shoved in the opposite direction. It's no coincidence that RAZZ players have a 50 pecent lower biorhythm count and a 50 percent higher suicide rate.

That being said.. I love that damn game. Long live the wheel!

LOL, well I've only been playing razz for about 2 months now and I generally don't sit down for long sessions because I'm still seeing how I fare and whether it still appeals to me. As far as I can tell I still find the game exciting, managable, and fairly easy at my micro limits. Maybe one day the blues will just hit me!

Razz pwns. More complicated game than many people realize. Easy way to build bankroll for micro grinders imo.

According to who? Or are you just kind of joking?

And where are you playing Razz live? I think it can still be found in CA, but I'd love to see some tables spring up in AC.

For people who loathe Razz, all I can tell them is, while you may be playing for the worst hand, it's just like any other form of poker. There is a winner of the hand, and a bunch of losers. How is having a 7653A lose to a runner runner wheel any different than having a set cracked by a runner runner flush?

Was gonna say - there are places that regularly spread live razz?

All going well I'll be playing my annual live game of razz next week, they include it on the tournament schedule for our state championships. $100 buy-in and 20 minute levels with a 60 big bet starting stack though... so I'm thinking it's gonna be pretty crapshooty

I've never played Razz live. I actually find it relaxing.

How much of a bankroll should you have to play the low limit razz online?

If you know what you're doing about 250 big bets. Otherwise (or in more laggy agro nutty games) 350-400 big bets.

In my opinion I believe razz is the most frustrating poker game of all. At points it seems that I cant catch any low cards for the life of me with a starting hand of A23. after fourth, fifth, and sixth street you wonder wtf happened to your good starting hand. Its fun but at the same time very frustrating. Razz has its moments.

You are treating A23 like its AA. It doesn't guarantee you a win. I could understand if you were having made 7xxxx cracked or had like a 652A draw four hands in a row and bricking.
