If you don't know him by name, don't feel bad, neither did I.
On one of my breaks I see this guy standing in the smoking area and think to myself, wow! That guy looks just like that guy who made the final table of the main event a few years back. I walk over and say, "Excuse me sir, what is your name?" When he answered in his South African accent I knew it was him.
He is a really great guy. We chatted for the whole break and he told me about his thoughts while playing the final table. In case you didn't know, he finished 3rd in 2007.
He also told me that pokerstars gave him $250k in sponsorship dollars in the form of tournament buy-ins. He has had some success on the European circuit.
I was also at the same table briefly with Sean Jazayeri, who won the main event of the 2012 L.A. Poker Classic. He came to our table about 20 mins before the table broke. I didn't get in any hands with him while we were at the same table.
