yeah some have not done much, others have shown to be pro worthy...I just want a pro to win soon...they are just too out numbered, the odds are against them.

I honestly dont like any of them....hachem is nice but can sometimes be cocky...

The Europe Main Event is shaping up to be a better indicator lately. Juanda and Shulman taking titles and Negraneau runner up. Granted I know nothing about the new Europe winner.

The pros are outnumbered and also some of the older legends are being bullied by young aggressive chip cannons. Harrington's 3rd and 4th place finishes were incredible looking back at it.

Next year I want to see like 3-5 pros at the final table. An all star table. Unlikely but it would be great to see.

Tons? I don't know what you think going "deep" is, but there were not alot of pros in the top 50.

You realize the top 50 is less than 1% of the field right? If you consider being in the top 1% of a field going deep then sure not many pros made it. But if you consider the pros who were itm then there were alot more of them (top 10%).

The whole 2010 final table was pros, except Soi Nyugen. They just werent all well known pros. Only Mizrachi was really well known, but Cheong and Racener had impressive previous wins as well. A lot of pros went out in the top 27 as well from what I remember, but I cant think of names at the moment.

Point is there is more to being a 'pro' than simply being well known and how much TV time they get. A poker pro in my opinion is someone who plays for a living, plays big buyin cash and tournaments (online included), and wins consistently (as consistently as possible in a game like poker, at least.)

1. Raymer
2.Hachem
3.Eastgate

Beyond that I don't care, though gold would be last if I were to rank all them.

Everyone else sucks especially Cada. Eastgate has so much potential to be better if he ever plays again.

Huh? Not too sure what you consider a poker 'pro' to be but I see many of them in the Top50 (top100) (maybe not the ones you'll see on PokerAfterDark or on poker site advertisements, tv ads., etc.... but many well-known ones in the poker community).

Some of the names I see jumping out at me...
Mcmatto (Matt Affleck)
"Roothlus (Adam Levy)
Hasan Habib
David Baker
Scott Clements
William Thorson
Johnny Lodden (wonder what Lodden thinks of how many pros in top50?)
Bryn Kenney
Theo Jorgensen
Tony Dunst (Bond_18)
Alexander Kostritsyn
David Benyamine
Eric Baldwin
James Carroll (croll103)
Christian Harder (charder30)

Never would of thought Yang would of been anywhere but the bottom two.

For me: Raymer, Hachem, Easgate, Cada, Duhammel, Moneymaker, Gold, Yang

Going to rank mine on their Impact to Poker overall...IMHO

1.Moneymaker = Most of us would not be here because of him
2.J. Gold= won the largest money ever and was an awesome bluffer
3.Joe Hachem=was a good aussie and also benifitted from the MM effect
4.Joe Cada = Youngest player ever to win (lucky)
5.Duhamel = he's a Canuck
The Rest...

I think Gold's bluffing ability was the only thing he had going for him... made him annoying as hell though, everytime I get top pair top kicker I just hear his annoying voice saying 'I HAVE TOP TOP...'

Gah.

Did people miss the bit where Soy Nguyen was the only amateur at the final table this year? If memory serves me right Darvin Moon was in the same boat last year.

Duhamel is a professional player. Eastgate was when he won, though he's since retired. I'm reasonably sure Cada was already a pro when he won. If what you really mean is "people you've seen on TV" then say so - otherwise don't make the mistake of assuming you have to be on TV to be a professional.
