how do you put someone on a hand?

It's hard to tell at first unless you have tracker program. Once you played with the same players for 100+ hands, you can sort of put them on a range of hands. You can do that by observing how tight or lose they play in different positions and looking through hand histories.

By the way, is this regarding a SnG or Cash game. Then it would a bit different.

both it seems this may be 1 of the most important skills a poker player needs
