I have downloaded almost all the sites I play on without any affiliation. The only exception is Walker Poker, and now that I have finally got the remainder of my cash out of there, I have deleted it from my computer.
My question is, is there a way to get rakeback without having joined a pokerroom from an affiliate, such as Cardschat. I downloaded most sites a long time ago, even though I didn't use them too often. Thanks.

I recently got Rakeback at Full Tilt.
Got also an account earlier without an affiliate and than contacted Full Tilt for a request for Rakeback. They told me to make a request at Rakebackpros and create an account there. They would contact full Tilt and than I had to wait for an approval.
All things went well and I got my rakeback within 10 days.
I heard from other members that they waited much longer and didn`t get their rakeback, so no garanties.
But you can give it a shot, and might get lucky.

If you joined via an affiliate then you cannot get rakeback.

Being as you have not joined via an affiliate, simply join a RB site and tehn request your account be transferred to the RB affiliate. (It is then at the discretion of the poker-site if they allow this).

Sites like FT are happy to let you have RB so long as you have not signed up via an affiliate.

Unless you already sent in your information such as your ID, you should be able to create another account easily. Right now all those poker sites know you downloaded the program already by your I.P. Address. Create another account at another IP Address and you should be ready to go. By that, I mean go to a friends house and do it.
