I am thinking about setting up an account with fulltilt, and then joining one of the sites that offers rakeback. I currently play on stars and am sick of paying all that rake with nothing to show for it but FPP's. I don't know much about it. Others who take advantage of this can you let me know exactly how it works. Are there any fees associated with registering at the rakeback site? How often do they pay it, etc? They don't have very much info about it on the sites.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just realized this was probably the wrong place to post this because cardschat gains from signing up through them. I definitely don't want to step on anyone's toes, especially on their own forum. Does anyone know if I could open up a fulltilt account with the code of Cardschat and still get rakeback somehow?

Cardschat doesn't promote or endorse rakeback in any way. It's seen as a very bad thing to this industry by the vast majority who promote poker as it leads to player poaching between sites.

I do, however, understand that full time poker players need it in order to make a decent profit - so in that respect I can't really do anything about it.

Nick,

Thanks, I understand where you're coming from and I do appreciate this forum and would like to support it as well. You would think that these sites could get together and come up with some kind of uniform way to do this so that would cut the poaching off. Personally I love playing where I play but realizing how much money I'm missing out on because of the amount of hours I put in on cash tables at a site that doesn't offer rakeback is disturbing. It is a lot of money that i'm losing out on.

I did try many rakeback-sites but during past months only one ... which offers you 100K in Freeroll each month - excellent support
You have a rake-tracker which is updated usually 2-3 days and the payout normally once a month ....... couple of sites there is a strict rakeback of 27% like FTP or 28% at UB, Absolute/Vegas247 ... CryptoRooms 30-35% ..... at PrimaSkins you got up to 60% paid daily but after bodog did buy Betholdem max. is 30%

No rakeback at Stars, as you were writing bout FPP`s ... maybe after they lost 30+% of their customers
