“The Raiser’s Edge”

I wanted to know how many people on here have read this book? Also what did you think of it? I'm thinking of picking it up (as it's solely geard for tourneys), I could be mistaken but I beleive so...

heard of this book written by "ELKY?", the author is a very good player, and thought the author may put his own ideas to the book...LOL

I found it quite interesting. Naturally, not every part was equally relevant to my game simply because Elky plays at a higher level than I do, and thus faces opponents whose levels of thought and analysis aren't the same as my opponents'.

I have never heard of this book but I have been thinking about getting some to up my game

I have this book on my computer as a PDF and it is a good book, not the best book. The main bulk that you will want to read is by ELKY but there are other authors such as Lee Nelson. I would recommend winning poker tournaments one hand at a time.

"the razors edge" was better. .

This book seemed to be aimed at higher level players, as is Elky. May not be a book for someone just trying to get started playing.

I have this in my kindle.But I am reading other books.So the answers here will be helpful to me.
