if sites are run on a random card generator then the cards that are rabbited are wrong because the cards are always being shuffled. So if someone did call the card that would of came out on the rabbit more than likely would of not came out with the call. Am i correct?

Yes. But the part of you that wants to see the rabbit isn't the logical part.

Not exactly, as soon as the cards are delt all cards are delt, you just cant see them until they are "played". This is the process that leads to the debate on if there is a program out there that is allowing people to "see" the board before the UTG even makes his/her 1st bet.

Dont be so quick to dismiss the rabbit cam, it can be a great tool to get fish to bite. If you are picking up blinds after blinds then use the RC to intice some action. When fish see thier 48o would have given themn a straight they are more likley to play the next hand. Or at least thats been my experiance

My understanding was that most sites did not determine the next card until it was time to display it on the screen.
I looked it up and I was wrong. From what I've read, only Full Tilt continually shuffles the deck until the card is needed.

Bottom line is... who cares? It makes absolutely no difference in 99.9999% of all circumstances.

If I fold a big draw and others continue the hand, I usually look away. I dont even want to know after I've folded.

If you call a million times and would have lost money, then it doesn't matter if it happens to hit that one time.

Can't it work the opposite? JQ folds to see a A85. But do you necessarily want these tight players in your hand? Personally, I see no point to it. I DO use it someimes, usually to show folk my hand, ya know, keep myself honest (probably stupid, but only in freerolls, where you get moved to a new table soon anyway usually). :p Is Carbon the only site that uses this?

As far as I know The carbon network is the one with the rabit cam... but I could be wrong.
And I it would not make sence as to why the cards would keep suffleing because if it is true how can there ever be such things as "superuser" accounts(I think thats what it is called when you know what cards are comeing.

I agree with cowboy on this one. In my home game people always ask to see the last cards after a hand. It's always the same 2 or 3 people, and they always end up chasing hands later on because they saw that if they stayed in the previous hand they would have straightened or flushed out. It tends to make poor players chase more which i don't mind.

BTW on EVERY site i know the generator does not randomize the cards after the deal. It's like a normal deck for the duration of the hand.

Rabbiting is just a waste of time in either a live game or a online game. It just slows the game. I want to see as many hands as possible.

Depends on the site - as SavagePenguin noted, Full Tilt is supposed to use a continuous shuffle. They don't offer a rabbit cam though, so the point is moot.

As for slowing the game down, that's exactly the reason it's discouraged in live casinos. Being continually asked to rabbit cards is one of the most sure-fire ways to tilt your dealer, BTW. The number of times I've had to fake a smile and say "Whoops - sorry, already mucked the deck"...

Online though, I don't see the problem with it as it doesn't actually take any more time.

So what you're saying is that the meaningless card you see when you rabbit hunt is a different meaningless card than the meaningless card would have been had you been called. That's blasphemy!!! Rabbit cams are rigged!!!!111

Running the rabbit is the sort of thing a losing mindset wants to do.

I am glad to play with people who like to do it.

ok i have no idea what a rabbit cam is, neevr heard of it before lol.

but from what this sounds like im guessing its where you get the chance to see what the cards "would" have come out as if the hand progressed?

someone please let me know lol!!

Only the winner of the hand can use it, and it only shows the winners hole cards, so use it as you see fit. Information is a powerful weapon in poker, both for and against us

Hello Steve welcome to CC.
Rabit cam is an potion on Carbon poker, its kind of a neet little option that allows you to play out the board if you are folded to before the river

That is exactly right stevie_is_god, but aren't you 'sposed to be omniscient?

People have done this is live games for a long time, but now we can do it online too.

It is the absolute expression of results oriented thinking and makes players second guess their decisions encouraging bad play.

If you move your cursor for 40 hands straight YES, you will most likley see a winning hand. However, if you dont move the cursor and see 40 hands in a row, you will have the same chance of seeing a winning hand. Your cursor has no effect on what cards are delt
