So i get into the omaha hi freeroll on full tilt. And the game is highlight in red, which means a pro is playing, it's lee watkinson, my god everyone is ripping on him or wishing him good luck or wants a piece of him. But i don't blame him playing a freeroll, if i was a pro i'd be doing the same thing, it is free money.

Playing in a freeroll is not a good idea for a pro in terms of money, as their hourly earn will be much higher in any real money game. Basically they are giving up more profitable earning opportunities by using their time to play in freeroll. Clearly money isn't the motivation here for Watkinson. Likely it has something to do with his site contract requirements.

^^this. In order to reap the sponsorship rewards, site pros are required to mingle with "ORDINARY FOLKS" a certain amount. So, in the end, it really is about ,oney, in a way.

They are required to play a certain number of hours a week, and playing in a freeroll racks up the hours without risking money
