Quick Tips for Razz?

Im going to play in Free Roll over at FT. Any Quick Tips. Reg starts at 9:00 EST for any1 who is wanting to play...Also, are pairs good in Razz...never quite understood, i understand lowest 5 cards just never understood how pairs work

pairs are no good in razz. Good luck and try to play tight. Don't overplay hands as well.

ok thanks, its 5 lowest cards right? but when a pair coes does it take away those two cards that make up a pair?

Yes its the lowest 5 cards for ex: you had A,2,4,5,7,K,7 you would have A,2,4,5,7 as your hand.

If the third highest of your first 5 cards (aces are low) is 9 or higher, muck. If you don't have at least 2 cards of your first 3 that are 7 and lower, muck. That's a good start. Most winning hands have a high of 7 or 8 at worst (usually).
