I just saw some things about PAHUD on another thread. Those who have it can maybe answer my questions. I don't have any software like poker tracker yet.

How can it show you mucked cards? Is that not cheating!?! That is like me reaching into the middle, taking your cards after you fold and LOOKING. Does it really do it and will it do it at any site where poker tracker works?

I just want to know before I pass judgement on it. I like to play online but that scares me. No way should you be able to know every hand that I take to showdown and lose. Especially to a program that remember it forever.

Most sites show you mucked hand in their hand histories anyway - that's where PAHUD lifts them from.

Really? I guess I need to have that up and looking at it more closely. I am suprised by that. Mucked is mucked in my book.

You are right. Just checked my PS hand history to see what he called my reraise preflop with. I can't believe they show.

WOW! I am suprised that they show that. Learn something new every day. So much for bluffs. I am stunned.

They only show hands that called at the showdown and lost? Is this right?

I am looking at my last hand history and trying to see when you can find some and what they had but did not show.

They only show a mucked hand if it is listed in the hand history, meaning it went to the river showdown. At no other time is a mucked hand allowed to be listed/shown. Technically in live poker, you can ask to see a mucked hand at this time but is considered extremely bad etiquette and is rarely ever done. The only sites I've played that DON'T list/show a mucked hand after showdown are Poker.com & Dream Poker.

When possible, I just check the HH when I want to know. I use the free PT add-on Gametime+ for HUD and save the $25 for PAHUD.

OMG! I have played there for almost 2 years and never knew that. LOL
I guess when I am playing just one table I will have to have my instant hand history up and watching for more info. Will be really helpful heads up on when they lose to know what they are playing with.

Are you sure PS shows mucks at random and not just at showdown in the summary like your example?

I always have my HH open when playing at Stars, especially when playing more than one table. It lets you learn what guys are playing and their betting patterns without watching the whole hand. I have never seen it done at a live table because it is considered wrong to ask but you don't even have to ask online. Most people (yourself included until now) have no idea about this feature and some (my wife) don't care, they play the cards, not the people.

It gets especially funny when people who don't think that their hands are "known" start to lie about what they had.

"god you suck out on me all the time. I had trips!"
"I had you beaten from the flop and onwards. You didn't have trips."
"Yes I did!"
"No, you had 98o, and flopped third pair. I flopped top pair. Give it up."

No I don't, and of course I do! But...

#1 I'm too cheap to buy it :)
#2 I'm too stupid to find the crack :)

PAHud doesn't have a readily available crack... so just buy the damn thing... it's only $25... and pick up PokerTracker Omaha for free by using their sign-up deals. It should save you money in the long run.

ROFLMAO Chuck,
same here on both #1 & #2, but if you wanna get technical #2 isn't what it is "Crack"ed up to be.;) Besides being a bit wrong(well more like alot wrong) to do it, you can get massive viruses trying to get it. Ask my ol' computer wizard kid about trying to get cracks. Can't take short cuts without consequences.

When I have the money, I'm just gonna buy it myself.

As I am in the same boat as you Chuck, I decided to see if pokertracker is all it's cracked up to be. I found out you can get pokertracker for free for the first 1,000 hands before you decide whether or not you actually want to pay for it. After 1,000 hands have been played it will not import any more hands into the system. I did find it was a definite advantage to have pokertracker and I am now actually considering dishing out cash money to register the software!

Have I not been saying this all along?
Seriously.
For those of you who don't have PokerTracker and PAhud, skip going to the movies or the bar one or two nights.
Bam, there you go, you have an extra $75. Buy them both, then watch it pay for itself.
