I've seen many varying posts on this card, some say it works at all sites, some say it doesn't. Granted some of the posts are dated, so I'd like to get a current assessment of the card and the sites I'd use it on as well as some various questions.
Currently I have ePassporte, no problems yet, but I have read of others having problems so I'm looking for an alternative method of depositing and withdrawing.
What is the difference between the Pay-As-You-Go and the FeeAdvantage customer? I don' think it has anything to with the differences between the Gift Card and Re-Loadable card, so just checking. I'm guessing the Gift Card is like the Simon Gift card, one time use and can be bought at the grocery or pharmacy, right? But, can it become a re-loadable card, or is that the one you have to purchase on-line?
I've checked out the All-Access and NetSpend websites, and the fees are a bit high, but do-able. I'm curious as to the high monthly fee's for the FeeAdvantage customer. Does anyone have any information on this feature and fee. Also, I've heard and read, that it is re-loadable through PayPal. Can anyone verify that? I'm assuming that re-loading it through one of the listed distributors hasn't been a problem, right?
As for the sites that I'm interested in, they include pokerstars, FullTilt, Absolute/Vegas247, UltimateBet/Poker, and bodog. Has anyone had problems using it at any of these sites?
Thanks

I have not tried again since getting declined a couple times, I have said it before I will stick to moneygram, same service charge as the visa pretty much. Maybe little more but not much.

I've only used the All Access Gift card once when I deposited funds to replace a portion of my bankroll that I transfered to a friend who was nervous about online depositing. So from personal experience, it is by far the cheapest way to deposit at the moment.

I also can't speak to what poker rooms will or won't accept it, but PokerStars does. That much I know. I'd expect all of them to, but I haven't used it at all of them.

I've checked out the All-Access and NetSpend websites, and the fees are a bit high, but do-able.
I don't know anything about NetSpend, but the All Access fees are not outrageous. I think you were looking at their permanent card which has higher fees and transaction fees, etc. Wrong card. You want the pre-paid debit card. When you buy the card (mine was from the local currency exchange I pass on the way home from work), they have two cards available. There is the pre-paid card and the permanent card. The debit card you get immediately, the permanent card you have to show ID and wait for it to be mailed. DO NOT GET THE PERMANENT CARD. Get the debit card which is immediate. There is a single fee of $4.95 one time when you buy the card. No other fees and it is not reloadable. You buy it, deposit, and done. Here's the key to using it online. You don't need ID to get the pre-paid debit card, you just buy it. When you get it home you go to their website and register the card with your real name and address. Once that's done you can immediately use the card online.

I just want to add one more thing to JD's great info. If you are going to be using the entire $$ amount that is on the card at one place, you do not need to register it.

I have often wondered if stormswa had registered his cards before using them, and perhaps that was the reason they were declined after using them at gaming sites a few times? Don't know if that could be the reason why his were declined...:dontknow:

Well, if it doesn't work, you could always give the card to your wife to go shopping. :D :D :D

Unless that one place is online.

AllAccessGift.com FAQs said:
Can I use my All-Access Gift Card for online or phone purchases?
Yes. Your personal information needs to be registered to the card in order to make purchases online or by phone. If the information you provided the merchant is different from that registered with NetSpend, the purchase could be declined. You can check or update your profile information by visiting www.allaccessgift.com or by calling 1-800-699-9708.

And if you do have any problems using it...
AllAccessGift.com FAQs said:
What do I do if my All-Access Gift Card is declined?
If a transaction is declined, you should first verify the balance on the card by visiting www.allaccessgift.com or by calling 1-800-699-9708. The merchant cannot access this information.
If you do not have enough funds remaining on the card to cover the purchase, you can use a second payment method -- such as cash, check, or credit card -- to cover the difference. Let the cashier know how much you will pay with each type of payment when making your purchase.
If your card was declined, and there are sufficient funds to cover the purchase, contact us at 1-800-699-9708 to determine why the card was declined.

Oh, and apparently NetSpend is related to registering your stuff for online use based on the above info.

Wow, you really do have bad luck with them. I just called them for giggles and got a person. Maybe it's people like me checking up on them that causes people that actually need them to not be assisted in a timely manner. :)

Probably because of people like me e-mailing them to check up on their response times.

(and no, I didn't just e-mail them). :)

Must have been a disreputable site that doesn't do address validation like 99.999% of all the other merchants on the net. ;) :) :p
