So, because of my limited BR, I play alot of micro limits...Yea, Im down currently, partly my bad play and partly their luck....Anyway, I was curious when I finally get a BR high enough to play like the 1/2, 5/10 or 10/20 games, does the play get better??? I know I have work I have to do before I get to those limits, but it gets old getting sucked out because someone calls your raise with a 6/4 or a K/6s ..... Or does it not change??

Also how about tourneys, Ive noticed in $3 rebuy tourneys and the 10cent tourneys, the play is the same...So will the tourney play change when you move up to high buy ins or do you see alot of the same clownage?

I am just curious...Thanks for the heads up.

I dont know if the quality of play changes that much. I have seen players in the upper stakes play terribly as well as anywhere else. It all depends on the kind of money you have. At the Bellagio I saw one guy donk of $30K playing like an idiot. But he was a multi millionaire who thought it was fun.
Right now you should be concerned with your play. Its the only thing you can control. Learn more. Study. Get experience. Watch, read, talk, think poker. Learn to beat even the worse type of players who will come in with anything. Be able to play all kinds of style. Tight, Loose, Aggressive, Nit,etc. Have fun and dare to be good.

Generally the higher the buy in the better the people will play. Its unlikely that you will get donks in an expensive game.

Rebuy games however can get silly. This is because some people start in their account with say $50 and earn $12 and what they do is use the $12 randomly by playing bingo all ins constantly rebuying until they double up.

Altogether the higher the stake the better the players. ;)

Generally the play does get better as the stakes get higher. There are always exceptions to the rule. You will find much looser players in rebuy tournies than you will in a freezeout regardless of the stakes.

There are also people who have money (lots of it) and dont know how to play.

Play Here

If you want a higher caliber of player, play the add-on buy-in tournaments right here at CardsChat. See Calendar. They are a cut above the rest.
