Basically the question is to those who live in Russia. But I do not mind knowing how things are in this and in other countries.
There is a rumor that you need to pay taxes from the money that I deduce from poker. I wonder who pays those taxes? If so, how much wins do you have to pay? I also wonder how something is tracked that I'm withdrawing money from poker? And how can you pay taxes from what is prohibited? (poker is banned in Russia)

The taxation will obiviously vary country to country. Here in canada if you derive all of you income from playing cards then it will be taxed at the rate associated with that inome bracket . so anywhere form say 17% at the low and and probably around 45-47% at the high end.

as far as I know the value is collected at the source, at the poker houses and casinos! example of this is in vegas, when you get your first, the taxes are already discounted! I saw it from the mouth of professional players!

poker sites block. Poker App where there is a game for real money. Without VPN do not go not where. And if I'm not mistaken, Sochi is a special area for games. Type Vegas. But I could be wrong.

I live in Belarus, we are not forbidden to play poker. I pay 13% of taxes on income from poker.

In my opinion the poker site must pay all taxes which are included in the 10% remaining for the site.

It is a good idea for everyone (for govervent to take a tax, for player be in legal, for pokerroom be in legal and have more player)

I never paid taxes, although I withdrew money from a pokerstars account, this year is a little from $ 1000 to $ 1200! conscience excruciates terribly, but to pay 18% of a prize (Ukraine) it is a lot of))))

Banks don't care unless sum of withdrawing more $20K. I also don't understand why to pay if they try to make it prohibited.

It's possible that everyone uses the VPN on 888. I do not play on 888, because I did not warn them that I will use VPN (but otherwise I could not connect to the game), now I can not prove to them that I am me. And I also thought about the interest for currency exchange. I think this will not be enough for them

Uuuu .... to such amounts to me far. A conscience does not seem to excruciate. Although this is possible from the fact that my withdrawal amount is small.

I'm from Russia. And I have the same questions about taxes for poker gains (cashout). Online poker in Russia on a semi-legal position. Poker sites are blocked, but everyone is playing poker. This is Russia.
