True, but in limit, there are meta reasons to always have big stack in front of you.
1. New players don't know if you're stuck, may actually think you're big winner... that definitely plays a role in their thinking of you.
2. If you go on a heater, you'll have 4-5 racks in front of you.
3. You, as well as your oppnts., get used to seeing tons of chips in front of you.
4. When cashing out, you'll always have more than rack in your hands, which can mentally make you feel better when you leave stuck (and will "train" oppnts. to think of you as big winner).
