The ones I've played of these seem to be quite soft. You pay $1.10 to enter, plus you also need a ticket. I found the ticket quite easy to obtain, and it allows you entry to a range of tournaments that are listed when you click Requests > Tournament Tickets...

You obtain the ticket by passing a Core Quiz for the pokerstars Poker School:

Top 27 paid, and there were about 140 entrants in the ones that I played in.

Anybody else here playing in these?

There's a thread devoted to it https://www.cardschat.com/forum/pok...so-premier-league-stars-august-thread-200025/

I've played a couple of the $1 ones where they add '3seats' to the monthly $1K-added (21:00est daily) but I found they just tilt me too much playing in them (what I mean is, when 90% of the hands being played to showdown & you're watching the play thinking wtf? why? what are they thinking? omfg..really? wow.. what was that!?!?, LOL). 2 of them was enough.

The monthly $1,000 added ($11 buyin) has just as bad of play in it (which can obv. be good). Noticed a small handful of players who are decent players but the large majority are terrible. There's one on tomorrow at 16:30(est) & same thing as far as the requirements to qualify for it (one of those tickets for passing the initial core quiz).

I've already posted in that thread, which is NOT devoted to the Premier Skill League Qualifiers.

The level of play is only slightly higher than freeroll play, but with the $1.10 buy-in the prizes at the final table can be better than standard SNGs, but easier to win.

I'm always on the lookout for softer tournies, such as the BLT sats at FT in the good old days, so I'm quite pleased to have discovered these.

$11 is well out of my usual price range, but I might give that a try later today :)
