Well I know about Negreanus play a little since i read most of his power hold em book. He likes to play small ball poker which comes down to playing tons of pots as cheaply as he can in position. And raising to 2.5X the BB

Doyle-Maybe back in the day he was really aggro and gambly. But nowadays he's just a nit

Negreanu-Pretty loose and aggressive. He's excellent at reading people and therefore willing to play many hands because of his postflop play.

Harrington-A rock. Very very situational and is capable of adapting very quickly to anything. Very solid play both practically and theoretically

Hansen-Same as Negreanu, but he's more aggressive and doesn't call as often

Ferguson-Same as Harrington it seems

Aren't they pros because they can change their styles at anytime to suit the table they're playing at? It's like that Gus Hansen commercial from FTP. :) "I'm always mixing up my play to keep people guessing. Who will I be this hand? Trapping Gus who check raises your chips away. Aggressive Gus who plays every hand no matter what. How I play is up to you."

Thanks Guys

That helps me out a bunch. I dont want to waste time reading a style I dont care about or Allready understand. I like the switching gears I try to incorporate that kind of thinking as well.

Doyle - depends on the game, but I think Emperor's on the right track. He plays a lot tighter nowadays than he used to.

Negreanu - he calls his style smallball. Whether he's loose-passive or loose-aggressive depends on the game from what I've seen of his play on TV.

Harrington - definitely a nit.

Hansen - loose-aggressive. He was kinda the poster boy for the style until guys like Durrrr came along.

Ferguson - tight-aggressive. I wouldn't say he's as nitty as someone like Harrington, but he's not getting out of line too often.
