Prop bets online

I've always seen these so called prop bet threads, but I never really understood how they work? How you determine a winner and a loser? How the funds are paid out, how the odds come about? Don't get me wrong, I understand the concept of it, but I don't understand the workings of the actual prop bet itself..


So lets say for instance I wanted to do one, so exactly how would I go about doing one? And how do I go about getting the correct odds for my prob bet? Than how do the funds get put aside in-order to keep the prop bet funds separate from the rest of the funds? So I once again, kinda understand the odds of the prop bets, but I don't understand how they come about that figure itself.What I mean is I get the idea that the harder the challenge the higher your odds should be correct, or am I missing something?

Anyways if you all could let me understand this I'd appreciate it.

They're more arrangements between players and not really enforceable by anyone so you have to make sure you trust who your dealing with. Here's a pretty interesting article about them if you are trying to get into doing more of them.

love prop bets im pretty good at them finished picking 60 perecnt of prop bets in the nfl last year

They're a ton of fun for sports betting(not sure whether or not that's what he was asking about). It's kinda silly what you can bet on like the color of Beyonce's hair and outfit. You can parlay them with regular bets to make some extra $$

No, there were many famous online prop bets about (for instance) most hands / most sngs / tournament leader points in one month/year etc. and also some well known bankroll building challenges in a certain time frame.

prop bets online could be solved as collusion arrangements if the wrong person reports it

I think that's kind of a stretch. I think for the most part the prop bets that are made don't even involve the players ever even playing together at the same time. If they do more often than not it's going to be a added wager to a series of heads up games that aren't going to involve any other players. I might be wrong but I've never heard or a prop bet resulting in an account being suspended or anything like that for collusion.

most these people know each other.....and pay out various ways that are safe

As I stated I was always interested in doing something of that nature but I never really looked too far into how it works
