Hello, I started playing poker most studied form. Lately I started thinking about trying to make some money with poker and studying to be professional.
My questions are as follows:
1) You can work and be a poker pro?
2) You can get without buying books (Watching hands, reading articles and participating in forums) and without investing in deposit?
3) Is it worth buying books and invest in deposit, success is not questionable?
Thanks to all who participate.

I don't think you understand the term "poker pro" correctly. At some point, if you really want to become a poker pro, you should ask yourself how much do you make with your job and compare that to your earnings with poker, over certain period of time. And then you decide if you "should" keep your job and still play poker as a hobby in your free time, or you fully dedicate your time to poker.

My guess would be that you don't have to read any books to gain big earnings, though you would need a lot of experience. Watching others play, replays of hands, scrolling through forums and stuff that aren't books are all excellent choice of knowledge.
Despite that, I think that there are things in books, that will change your view on poker and help your poker game more than other stuff. That doesn't mean the first line in a book will change your life, but one particular sentence/advice could help and improve you more than anything else have, until then. I value books very highly, and respect their content.

Books help you start, but wont make you solid. Experience will.

Take a look at shows like "Live at the Bike" and "Stones Live Poker" (both on Twitch). You'll notice that the players who splash around and make daring moves share one trait = They make their money outside of poker! They own auto body shops, or jewelry stores. They're plumbers, electricians, investors, or are in movie/TV production. Sometimes, their families just have money. Contrast that with the pros who almost universally play, tight solid poker - and often not hold'em.

The implication is pretty clear: Find a way to make money, and then play poker for grins. I hope this helps.

Cheers!

I would start at the lowest stakes and use a % of your bankroll as a rule of thumb for the level you play. I buy-in for 1% of my total bankroll or less then if you find that you climb the ranks to a stake that you can win and support yourself then i would say that you could do it professionally and make it your main source of income if that is what you choose to do. As far as training, books, online sites, and videos are a great source.

I think you can do it.

Be realistic and live your dream. Try and do both.

I think it's very difficult work and play poker at the same time to dedicate to poker a long time and dedication.
